Youtube will show over 1500 Indian Movies

In an attempt to expand its reach and attract more users Google Youtube will be showing over 1500 Indian Movies on its ‘Youtube Box Office‘, and these offering were made global and not just limited in India. Most of the movies being shown are from Bollywood, but some in other regional languages as well.

Apart from Hindi movies you can find movies from other India regional languages including Tamil and Telugu which are very popular down south apart from Bengali, Gujarati, Kannada, Malayalam, Marathi and Punjabi. Trying to make it more user friendly, portal provides with an option like 10 ten recent favorites and users can get updates on new and interesting films. If you are visiting the page then be prepared to come across some ‘B’ Grade movies and adult movies as well which probably not advisable to children and family viewing.

However, YouTube is trying really hard to make the impact and this is very evident from the recent tie-ups with bigger banners and movie like Ra.One being promoted here. It is trying to be one stop destination and convenient place that Bollywood movie lovers can visit to watch both old and new Bollywood films.
