Tata Motors unveil new Tata Safari Storme

To join the latest band of Tata safari models is – Tata Safari Storme. Tata Motors launched the new Sports Utility Vehicle (SUV) Tata Safari Storme at a starting price of Rs 9.95 lakh (ex-showroom Delhi). While the base model 4X2 LX is available at Rs 9.95 lakh, 4X2 EX comes for Rs 10.77 lakh, 4X2 VX for Rs 12.37 lakh and 4×4 VX for Rs 13.66 lakh.

The Safari Storme has a 2.2 liter Varicor engine which generates 142 ps power, 320 Nm torque comes with a five speed manual gearbox. Tata Motors claim 14kmpl for the 2WD variant and 13kmpl for the 4WD trim which is quite an upgrade from the existing models.

The new Storme has been refined. The exteriors look more elegant and have a corporate feel to it. It also has ABS, disc brakes and shorter turning radius. The interior of the SUV is very sleek and stylish.

The new Tata Safari Storme will be available in seven colours, namely, Urban bronze, Astern black, Pearl champagne, Sardinia red, Pearl white, Arctic white and Arctic silver.
