Sylvester Stallone designs Montegrappa Chaos pen

‘Pen is mightier than the Sword’

Proving the point, ‘Rambo’ Sylvester Stallone has created new pen – Montegrappa Chaos pen for Italian manufacturer of writing instruments Montegrappa. Stallone will also be the face of Montegrappa’s advertising campaign. The theme and design of actor’s signature pen is inspired from his wildly-successful film, The Expendables.

Montegrappa Chaos pen design also takes inspiration from the classical art of 16th century by artists including Battista Franco, Albrecht Durer, Hans Sebald Beham and Antonia Pollaiolo.

Limited edition Sylvester Stallone’s “Chaos” pen is made of black pearlized celluloid with overlays in sterling silver or 18K gold. This handmade pen represents the pen maker’s skill and craftsmanship in carefully added antiqued finish with red and yellow enamel accents that represents the colors of fire. On pen we can see the detailed work bearing fist, skull, reptiles and the pen’s clip in form of a sword.

The limited edition Chaos pen is first from the ‘Cult’ collection of which 1,000 fountain pens and 912 roller balls will be made in sterling silver which represents Montegrappa’s 1912 date of establishment.
