Starwood Hotels & Resorts has unveiled its first St Regis Hotel in Florence with opening The St. Regis Florence on banks of the river Arno, originally Grand Hotel Florence under Starwood’s The Luxury Collection(R) brand went under 10 months of restoration.
The St. Regis Florence has over 81 luxurious and lavish guest rooms and total of 19 suites, including a designer suite by Bottega Veneta and every guest room and suite is named after noted Italian artists, benefactors and nobility.
To give each room a magical touch all rooms and suite have hand carved gold leaf plaques in either of three colors- Medici, Florentine and Renaissance. With each design concept offering a unique selection of custom designed furniture, paintings, frescos and crystal chandeliers, the hotel creates a sophisticated sense of relaxed opulence.
The Bottega Veneta suite is furnished designers own furniture collection adding beauty, class and artistic touch to the room.
The St. Regis Florence also boosts of one of the most magnificent restaurant and bar lounges in the city – Etichetta Pinchiorri which has been decorated with some exceptional piece of work ranging from glass art and a spectacular hand-blown Murano glass chandelier and has to offer some marvelous epicurean culinary experience.
