Good new for Rolex avid fans. The Rolex 216670 Explorer II marks the 40th anniversary of the original Rolex Explorer II. New Rolex is enlarged to 42mm 904L Stainless Steel Case and has latest Rolex caliber 3187 designed and manufactured by Rolex itself.
The Caliber 3187 includes recent Rolex innovations such as Paraflex shock absorbers and parachrom hairspring.
On the dial, the 24-hour hand has returned and the orange colour of the original 1971 model.
