Mercedes-Benz launches SLK 350 in India for Rs 61.9 Lakh

German luxury car maker Mercedes-Benz has announced the launch SLK 350 in India with a price tags of Rs 61.9 Lakh (ex showroom New Delhi).

Mercedes-Benz India Director (Sales and Marketing) Debashis Mitra said that last year, company was selling over 3-4 SLK 200 per month and expected sales figures to improve with the new SLK 350 launch.

SLK 350 will come to India as a completely built unit (CBU) and will be available in petrol version. Mercedes-Benz India sold about 5,819 units in 2010 (calendar year), the highest-ever sales figure registered by the company in the country.

SLK comes with 6-cylinder V-engine and a top speed of 250 km/h. The SLK 350 Mercedes has a maximum power of 305 Bhp at of 6500 rpm and a maximum torque of 370 at 3500 rpm.
