Mercedes-Benz Launches B-Class in India

Mercedes-Benz is launching the new B-Class in India which is targeting younger generation with good purchasing power – the young executive, entrepreneurs and business owners. Mercedes B class will be available in two variants – B180 and B180 Sport which will be priced at Rs. 21.49 lakhs for the B180 variant and Rs. 24.87 lakhs for the B180 Sport variant.

This is the lowest price cars offering from Mercedes in India and in near future we will see it going down further on price spectrum with launch of entry-level model, the A class for under Rs 20 lakh.

Mercedes-Benz is currently offering the B-Class with a petrol engine and the diesel engine models are likely to be available by next year.

The 2012 B-Class has received the best design award in Germany and is packed with some interesting features as well. The vehicle features 7-airbags, attention assist, hill assist, acceleration skid control, Eco Start-Stop system, 5.8 LCD screen, panoramic sunroof and bi-xenon headlights to name few.

Mercedes B-Class is capable of reaching 100 km/h in 10.2 seconds and has a top speed of 190 km/h.
