Style house Louis Vuitton’s fall 2012 campaign is just awesome. Set in backdrop of people boarding a train, the look and feel reminds of travel during first half of 19th century which has been aesthetically captured by ace photographer Steven Meisel.
The campaign features some new face. It features 10 female models cast as travellers accompanied by four male models as porters. The girls wear long coats, rich colors, and dramatic hats, all in luxurious fabrics. “We wanted to continue the journey we started with the fashion show — the glamour of travel and the romance of going somewhere,” Marc Jacobs explained.
For the shot train was deconstructed and shipped to a New York studio where it was rebuilt, filled with models, and photographed. The train will continue its journey is coming months when brand visits China next month.
