Millward Brown, the global research agency has come up with new 2011 Brand Report which puts Louis Vuitton as the most valuable luxury brand, for the sixth year in a row. With a 23 per cent increase from last year, Louis Vuitton is valued at $24,312 million.
As a brand, Apple left all brands and companies gasping for air and emerged as the most valuable global brand with estimated worth of about $153,285 million, recording an 84 per cent rise since last year.
Overall Louis Vuitton ranked 26 on the global brand value scale. According to the report, the ultra- luxury brands became a rage after a lull due to recession. Brands were more eager to make their presence felt online and blogs became huge influencers.
