Brands have been experimenting with their product lines and constantly innovating. This helps them in experimenting and gazing consumer likes and dislikes which further helps brands in evaluation their future prospects and plans. Some of these moves are well thought and strategic whereas few are just for fun.
The luxury brand Louis Vuitton has been experimenting with making honey. In 2009 they installed 3 beehives on roof of their headquarters in Champs-Élysées, Paris which has attracted over 200,000 bees since. 3 year has gone by since the hives were installed and now brand will celebrate its first harvest of honey from these hives.
The bottled honey is called – ‘La Belle Jardiniere’. Printed on the bottom of label is – “Produit a Paris par Louis Vuitton” (French for “Produced in Paris by Louis Vuitton).
Unlike other brands this product has very subtle LV symbol on bottle. In case you are planning to buy one, then you might be disappointed to know that it is currently not available in market and only be gifted to friends and family of Vuitton.
Just keep your fingers crossed… you never know when company plans to go full fledged in honey production.
