Last month we reported about the Lamborghini Aventador LP700-4 to be show case at 2011 Geneva Motor Show. And now the car is official launched. The new Lamborghini Aventador tips the scales at just 3,472 pounds.
Lamborghini Aventador engine is 6.5-liter V12 with 690 horsepower and 509 pound-feet of torque. That Lamborghini V12 is connected to a seven-speed independent shift rod transmission that was supplied from the Graziano Trasmissioni Group and can shift gears in 50 milliseconds.
The new Aventador LP700-4 can reach upto 62 miles per hour in just 2.9 seconds and comes with top speed of 217 miles per hour.
The interior are not neglected. The instruments are presented on a TFT-LCD screen, while a second screen is used to display multimedia and navigational information. Car is most likely to hit market by mid 2011 and expected to cost about $379,700 (US).
