A new Lamborghini Aventador LP700-4 is all ready for Geneva Auto Show from 3rd – 13th March ’11. The Aventador is the replacement of legendary Murcielago.
Lamborghini was one of the first automakers to build a mid-engine sportscar, has previously shown off the new pushrod suspension of the Aventador along with the brand new 700 horsepower (509lb-ft of torque) V12 engine from which the LP700-4 gains the main portion of its name, with the “-4” portion pertaining to the advanced all wheel drive system.
Aventador will be 95 kilograms lighter than the Murcielago LP640, weighing in at 1,570 kilograms thanks to a carbon fiber safety frame.
The model is said to cost over $370,000, although it’s already too late to become a launch customer as the first year of production has been sold. This speed machine will come with top speed of 217 miles per hour and a 0-60 time of 2.9 seconds.
