Jaguar unveils new F-Type two seated sports car

Just before the start of Paris Motor Show, Jaguar has revealed 2013 Jaguar F-TYPE sports car. The Jaguar is owned by Tata Motors, which it bought in 2008 for $2.3 billion. The new F-Type will be the first Jaguar two-seater in 5 decades.

The car is a two-seater roadster with a fabric roof which will be available with a choice of three engines – two 3.0L supercharged V6 engines delivering 340 hp and 380 hp and a V8.  The model will feature an 8-speed auto gear box and Stop/Start technology.

Jaguar F-Type with V8 engine is capable of going from 0-100km/h in 4.2 seconds and has top speed of 300km/h. The V6 S model take about 4.8 seconds to reach a speed of 100 km /h with a maximum speed of 275/km/h, and the base F-Type still performs the sprint in 5.1 seconds with a top speed of 260km/h.

In the interiors the F-Type is loaded with 10- or 12-speaker audio system, LCD instruments and available flat-bottom steering wheel.

The F-Type is expected to be available in price range of $69,875 to $92,000 for base to highest models respectively.
