India’s first Gold, Jewelry, Diamond Dispensing ATM unveiled

India is world 2nd largest gold consuming country but when it comes to innovative ways of buying and selling Gold and jewelry it has been stuck to old traditional ways. But things are changing for good and taking a leaf out of its counter parts India’s largest jewelry brand Gitanjali Group has initiated and unveiled India first gold dispensing machine in Mumbai by Bollywood actress Raima Sen.

This initiative by Gitanjali Group which is part of their ‘Go for Gold’ branding is unique and first in world as it also gives consumers options of buying jewelry apart from gold, silver bars, coins and diamond jewelry. Gitanjali Group is planning to launch 75 such ATM in all.

Through these machines it is really easy for consumers to buy the gold and jewelry as per their budget and convenience. Also suitable for last minute purchases on auspicious occasions and for gifting, providing instant gratification to the purchaser. Only recently China got its first Gold ATM and this phenomenon is common in Gulf countries and US.

The jewelry available will be priced across Rs 1,000 ($20) to Rs 30,000 ($600).
