If the latest news from NYPost is to be believed, Hosni Mubarak might be world’s richest and wealthiest man leaving behind likes of Slim Helu and Bill Gates.
Muhammad Hosni Sayyid Mubarak is the fourth and current President of the Arab Republic of Egypt, and if you have been following the world news currently he is most hated man in Egypt, and people have been demanding his oust for few weeks now.
Amidst of the chaos Hosni is likely the richest man in the world. The family fortune of Hosni is estimated to be worth about $70 billion — including huge bank balance in Swiss and other international banks and some real real-estate holdings in Manhattan, London and Rodeo Drive in Beverly Hills, the Guardian newspaper reports.
If we total all the estimated values then Mr. Hosni is comfortably ahead of Mexican business magnate and Carlos Slim Helu, whose worth is about $53.5 billion, and Microsoft founder Bill Gates, the richest American with $53 billion, according to a list of the world’s richest men by Forbes.com.
