French Luxury brand Chanel has announced the launch of new handbag range called – Boy Handbag collection. The announcement was made by labels creative director Karl Lagerfeld. He said that the new collection is inspired and based on the asexual style based on a hunter’s cartridge that founder Coco Chanel used to wear herself.
“Chanel used men’s underwear to make dresses,” Karl Lagerfeld explained. Elaborating he said “She had this boyish attitude, in fact it is the very spirit of Chanel. She got it from Boy Capel, the great love of her life…”
New Chanel Boy handbag collection will go on sale in stores from September including calfskin clutches, totes and purses in red, grey, and ivory glazed calfskin, with prices ranging from $2500 to $4300.
