The British luxury brand Burberry‘s has unveiled the new watch titled – The Britain. This would be the first instance where 158 years old British brand has forayed into luxury watch segment. The launch party for the watch was held in Burberry’s new flagship store on London’s Regent Street.
The watches are inspired by the classic Burberry trench watches has been created after over two years of research and development. Burberry has come with four different watches for men in a series of distinctive metals. The alligator straps are also inspired by Burberry colour palette including the trench, classic brown, matte black and bracelets in stainless steel.
The ad campaign for the new watch collection has been shot by Mario Testino featuring actress Gabriella Wilde.
Prices range from £1,125 to £2,775 (US$ 1,820 to US$ 4,490).
