Earlier Chanel had revealed the teaser for its upcoming Chanel No. 5 campaign featuring Brad Pitt. It will be first time that brand used a male brand ambassador.
The new ad by French luxury has been filmed by director Joe Wright. The 30 second black and white video shows Brad Pitt, talking directly to the camera – “it is not a journey, every journey ends, but we go on,” Pitt explains, as if speaking to an unseen woman. Looking in camera actor says “The world turns and we turn with it,” camera moves to a picture of the earth as seen from space, a bottle of Chanel No. 5 superimposed on top of it.
The light and setting keeps changing with each frame replicating the changing time from down to evening.
All said and done, what do you think about the ad? Little cheesy, where actor tries to talk in seductive voice? And why is this video shot in Black and White? Not really sure… Any Thoughts!!!
