Adding to the tablet war B&N unveiled their newest 7″ Android tablet. Priced at $249, the Barnes & Noble Nook Tablet comes with 16 GB of memory is available for pre-order and shipping starts November 17th.
It is powered with a dual-core 1.0 GHz processor and has 1GB of RAM. It has got 16GB internal storage which can be expanded with micro-SD and thousands of books and magazines all for just $249.
As said this 7” inch Tablet run on Android 2.3 OS, includes features like Wi-Fi connectivity, plays movies in HD, has a built-in microphone, and has a “Nook Newstand.” Additionally Barnes & Noble Nook Tablet is pre loaded with Netflix, Pandora Hulu Plus.
Barnes & Noble CEO William Lynch stated “Judge for yourself, but we think content will look and render better on the Nook than on Kindle Fire.” He also mentioned that the Nook Color is the second best-selling tablet, following Apple’s iPad 2.
