Audi launches A7 and the RS5 in India

German Luxury car manufacturer Audi launched the Audi A7 Sports coupe and the Audi RS5 at an event organized at Hotel Oberoi in Gurgaon. The car was unveiled by Deepika Padukone and will be available at the dealerships later this month.

Audi A7 has two engine variants: a 3-litre TDI V6 (diesel) and a 3-litre TFSI (petrol) with the basic version of two cars priced at Rs 64 lakh each. Audi has also launched the RS5 with a 4.2-litre petrol engine. This is priced at Rs 76 lakh, ex-showroom Delhi.

The A7 is a smart five-door coupe with a top speed of 250 kmph and Acceleration from 0 to 100 km/h takes 6.3 seconds. The 3.0 TDI V6 engine produces 500 Nm of torque at 1400 – 3250 rpm and 180 kW (245 hp) at 4000 – 4500 rpm. Audi claims a fuel consumption of 6.0 liters per 100 km on average.

The car also launched is the RS5. The RS5 4.2-litre V8 FSI engine delivers a massive 450 hp of power at a heady 8,250rpm. Even the torque figures from this two-door road-runner are equally impressive, with 430 Nm available from 4,000-6,000rpm.

RS5 has a top speed of 280 km /h and with your feet on accelerator, you can attain zero to 100km/h in an almost unbelievable 4.6 seconds.

Apart from luxury and style which is a regular feature of BMW, the striking bumpers, large air intakes, flared wheel arches and side sill extensions make it even more desirable. The interior are also beefed up as well with power-adjustable sports seats, aluminum inlays on the door sills and plenty of high-quality leather.
